How did you meet your canine companion?
Brock and I met in August of 2015 at the Humane Society in Vallejo, Ca. Our one year Adopt-a-versary is on the 27th! He looked so sad in his kennel, only 6 months old with gigantic paws! We met and I knew he was the one.
What’s the story behind your dog’s name?
Brock is named after a tv character, but he has so many names! I call him Broccoli most of the time. He's also my Babes, Baby Love, Sockley (when he steals my socks) and when he's bad he gets his full name, Brock Samson.
How has your life changed since you have had your dog?
Broccoli inspired my business! He took my life in a whole new direction. I made his portrait then it turned into this crazy, incredible journey of dogs and art. I've met the best people through That Furry Face! I'm so happy he came into my life.
Which 3 words best describe your dog’s personality?
Excited, lazy, snuggly
Who’s your dog’s favourite person?
His grandma Debbie! He loves her more than anyone in the whole world.
What’s your dog’s superpower?
His super sad face can make anyone give him anything he wants. It also gets him out of trouble most of the time. It's hard to be mad at such a tragic face.
If your dog had a job, what would it be?
He does have a job!! Mascot and model for That Furry Face! Follow him on Instagram @that_fury_face
What’s your dog’s most unappealing / most embarrassing habit?
Too much excitement, he needs to work on politely getting to know other dogs. Not everyone loves such passionate kisses!
Where can we find you hanging out with your dog?
At the Vallejo Waterfront, we love South Lake Tahoe but most days were just in the living room working.
