How did you meet your canine companion?
I was entertaining the thought of adopting a dog last Spring. One evening I was casually browsing Pet Finder and a photo of Luna (formerly Amber) popped up, it was love at first sight.

What’s the story behind your dog’s name?
I really love all things astrological and lunar and I thought Luna looked like a little bear. So then I thought of Ursa Minor and possible celestial inspired names. I landed on Luna because I thought "Luna bear" would be a cute nickname.

How has your life changed since you have had your dog?
Fur. Everywhere. On everything. Lint rollers are my saving grace. All that fur is worth it though. There's really no better feeling than coming home to he little face. Good day or bad, she's always there with puppy kisses and endless cuddles.

Which 3 words best describe your dog’s personality?
Silly, observant, loving.

Who’s your dog’s favourite person?
Me! She also really loves my friend who watches her if I'm out of town.

What’s your dog’s superpower?
The ability to lay in the most inconvenient spots. On your feet, in front of the sink or stove if I'm in the kitchen, right in front of doors, across my entire bed... the list goes on!

If your dog had a job, what would it be?
A professional swimmer. I swear, she's part seal. She LOVES the water.

What’s your dog’s most unappealing / most embarrassing habit?
When she's really excited she does this crazy, high-pitched howl/scream thing. It is so bizarre, funny and cute.

Where can we find you hanging out with your dog?
She's quite the little explorer, so I try to take her on hikes as often as I can. When we're not doing that you can usually find us at the local dog park.

Finish this sentence "a dog walks into a bar….”
and orders a jar of peanut butter, on the rocks.
