How did you meet your canine companion?
We adopted Marley from the Anti-Cruelty society in Chicago.
What’s the story behind your dog’s name?
We kept the same name that Marley came with at the shelter. It seemed to fit his personality, and he seemed to have a good grasp of it at the time!
How has your life changed since you have had your dog?
Oh my gosh - so much in the best way. I grew up with dogs for most of my life, and have been looking forward to having another one for a long time. We definitely have become more active on a day to day basis. I work from home, so I love the extra company too.
Which 3 words best describe your dog’s personality?
Loyal, Loving, Adventurous
Who’s your dog’s favourite person?
Me (but my husband is a close second!)
What’s your dog’s superpower?
He's incredibly good at jumping up onto high surfaces! I once tapped my desk (assuming he would put his front two paws up on it) and he literally jumped onto the whole thing without knocking one thing over.
If your dog had a job, what would it be?
What’s your dog’s most unappealing / most embarrassing habit?
He loves, loves, loves to squirrels and to bark at other dogs to get their attention at the dog park.
Where can we find you hanging out with your dog?
Practically every dog park in Chicago or walking along the lake/River Walk.
Finish this sentence "a dog walks into a bar….”
I'm too distracted by the concept of a walking dog to answer that question! ;)
