The Nurse Dog Bore
Dog Bore: Jenny
Lab mix, but it's your best guess! From the southern states of the US, transported to WI as little bitty pup!
How did you meet your canine companion?
I was randomly on social media in the car driving down the road and saw a fundraising event for rescue dogs at one of the local vets in town. My family decided we should go check out the fundraiser. We had no expectation, but to enjoy some cute pups. Low and behold Willy was there as one of the adoptable dogs! It was love and first sight for me, but my hubby wasn't so sure. However, my hubby was willing for me to fill out the adoption paperwork. About two weeks later after a visit with his foster family at the park, he was ours!
What’s the story behind your dog’s name?
The rescuers gave him the name "Wiggles". I knew I was not going to be able to call out "Wiggles" and not constantly laugh all the time! My hubby and I wanted to stay with a "w" so he wouldn't get too confused since he was already 5 months old so we both agreed on Willy.
How has your life changed since you have had your dog?
Willy has brought a new found excitement into our household! We enjoy as a family taking walks, going to the park, and adventuring into new areas of our local town.
Which 3 words best describe your dog’s personality?
Attention seeking, super energetic, and always famished
Who’s your dog’s favourite person?
Um... no question... ME!! My hubby comes in at a close second!
What’s your dog’s superpower?
Leaping... he can leap tall buildings in a single bound!
If your dog had a job, what would it be?
Security... he barks at anything that moves outside the house (and inside!).
What’s your dog’s most unappealing / most embarrassing habit?
Counter surfing for food constantly! He hides under the table while we eat and puts his head on our legs in hopes the food will fall to the floor.
Where can we find you hanging out with your dog?
At one of the local parks throwing the ball around and jumping around the play equipment!
Finish this sentence "a dog walks into a bar….”
...barks "you got a pint of water"?
