How did you meet your canine companion?
One of our friends, Laura, works at Furkids Animal Rescue and Shelters, and we told her that we were looking for a beagle to adopt. A couple weeks later, she sent us a picture of Glenn. He was such a little cutie. He was looking up at the camera with such puppy eyes, and you could tell that his tail was wagging because it was blurred. I sent the picture to my fiancé immediately, and we filled out that adoption papers that night. The next day, we went to meet Glenn at Furkids and fell absolutely IN LOVE! He had three accidents during our 10 minute meet and greet, but we didn't care because he was the absolute cutest. We took him home with us that very same day!
What’s the story behind your dog’s name?
My fiancé and I are HUGE The Walking Dead fans, and Glenn was our favorite character (RIP sorry for the spoiler!). We new we had to honor that character in some way, so we named our dog after him!
How has your life changed since you have had your dog?
My fiancé and I are living for more than just ourselves now. We have our little Glenn to take care of, and he has become our whole lives. He's like our child, and I'm not ashamed to admit that! We love him more than life itself!
Which 3 words best describe your dog’s personality?
Cuddly, energetic, stubborn
Who’s your dog’s favourite person?
His mommy and daddy of course
What’s your dog’s superpower?
The puppy stare...Glenn can get anything he wants by just looking up at us with his big, beautiful puppy eyes! It's the reason we adopted him in the first place!
If your dog had a job, what would it be?
Working at a clothing store! He is obsessed with stealing socks, shoes, shirts, you name it!
What’s your dog’s most unappealing / most embarrassing habit?
Up until about a month ago, Glenn really struggled with being house trained. He still has his moments, but he's getting better. He also has a habit of jumping up on people, but we're working on that!
Where can we find you hanging out with your dog?
You can find us hanging out at the dog park, going on hikes, and hanging out on the couch!
Finish this sentence "a dog walks into a bar….”
...and pees all over the floor!
